Intergovernmental
organizations or what we often hear as IGO are organization of
two or more countries. Membership can be open or closed. IGO can be said to
have a role that is not less important with the state because the IGO is a
collection of several countries that work together for the common goal. Examples
are organizations such as WTO, WHO, and WNO which are included in the IGO. Issues
covered by IGO are not limited to politics and security, but they also focus on health (WHO), trade (WTO), and environment
(WNO) .
In contrast, IGO is an organization of two or
more countries. Nongovernmental Organizations (NGO) is an organization whose
members are group as well individual acting and it”s not interferenced. NGOs can have a certain
political agenda or not at all. Also note that International nongovernmental
organizations (INGOs) are international-scale NGOs. In Indonesia the examples
of NGOs, ICW. ICW is a non-profit
organization consisting of a group of people committed to eradicating
corruption through efforts to empower people, to engage and participate actively in the
fight against corrupt practices
